SUBSIDY
1st December 2023Up to €15,000 in grants to make your home energy efficient in Spain.
Old buildings are the norm in Spain, but many do not meet energy standards. Renovations are popular to reduce emissions, increase comfort and cut costs. Grants of up to €15,000 are available.
The building sector in Spain accounts for almost 30% of energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions from old and inefficient buildings. Only 20% of buildings are efficient. It is crucial to take action to reduce our impact on the environment.
Energy efficiency not only saves the environment, but also money. It guarantees comfort, lower energy costs and a healthier indoor climate thanks to better insulation and ventilation.
The sentence about the swimming trunks and umbrella seems disconnected from the rest. Do you want to keep it?
How can I benefit from these subsidies?
To qualify for home improvement subsidies, certain criteria apply:
Home ownership is required.
The house must be at least 10 years old.
Renovations must focus on energy efficiency, safety, accessibility or quality of life.
Use approved companies for the work.
Obtain all necessary permits and certificates.
Some subsidies apply specifically to certain groups, such as the elderly or people with low incomes or disabilities. So carefully check the conditions of each grant before applying.
